Expecting? Motherhood sessions can also be maternity photography sessions, celebrating the love story that's already begun, before you've even met. An intimate session designed around one mother and one child. Whether you have one little one or several, a toddler or a teenager, your love story together deserves to be documented. You both deserve this.

From the moment you reach out, I'll listen with heart and intention to understand the love story between you and your child: the nuances and details, big and small, the rhythm you share, the things you love to do together, whether it's playing, reading, or dancing to your favorite song.

Motherhood photography for the chapter you’re living right now.

Did you hear? We aren't leaving our memories to disappear on a digital drive.

Photographs began as prints. Nostalgia lives in boxes, albums, and photographs we return to, to enjoy now and for years to come. My mission is to help you carry forward tangible memories and carry on traditions.

Experience the tangible completion of your art

There really isn’t one perfect age or season. Book when there is something about right now that you don’t want to lose: the way your toddler still holds your finger, the gap in your child’s smile, the bedtime ritual you’ve repeated a hundred times, the way your teenager still comes to sit beside you when they need you. You don’t need to wait for a milestone. The ordinary days are becoming the memories, too.

04 / When is the best time to book a motherhood session?

Often at home, because home holds so much of the story already. But we can also photograph somewhere meaningful to you, a favorite park, neighborhood, coffee shop, garden, or another place woven into your relationship. I offer motherhood and mom and me photography services throughout St. Louis, including Creve Coeur, Ladue, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, and Clayton.

03 / Where do motherhood sessions take place?

Yes. While motherhood sessions are centered on your relationship with your child, I’m always watching for photographs that preserve who your child is on their own, too. My approach to children’s portrait photography isn’t about asking a child to sit perfectly still and smile on command. I want to photograph the expressions, gestures, quirks, movement, and tiny details that feel unmistakably like them in this season. As a child portrait photographer, I believe the best portrait is often the one where a child has forgotten they’re being photographed at all.

02 / Do you offer children’s portraits too?

Absolutely. Motherhood begins long before your baby is in your arms. As a St. Louis maternity photographer, I love documenting the anticipation, tenderness, and connection that already exist between you and your baby. Your maternity session can be quiet and intimate, centered entirely on you, or it can include your partner or children when that feels right for your story.
